Join us for one of our regular online information sessions which we usually offer on a weekly basis during the application phase (Dec - Apr for summer term applications; May - Oct for winter term applications). In a presentation you will learn (almost) everything you need to know about the application and enrolment process, the university and Bremerhaven - of course, you may also state questions. This event also takes place in person in one of our lecture halls shortly before the application deadline (winter term application phase only).

Winter term application phase only!
Are you fed up with online events or are you simply curious to see the campus and the university live and in colour? Then take advantage of the opportunity shortly before the application deadline to take part in the classroom event in our lecture hall. You are also welcome to bring your parents or other interested relatives/friends. This event usually takes place shortly before the application deadline for EU/National applicants (15 August). The exact date and location will be published here and sent by e-mail/mail. Please register briefly by e-mail, including the number of people.
Meet your Prof Online and in person (winter term only)

In addition to the (online) information events with general information about Bremerhaven and your studies, you will also have the opportunity to meet your future professor(s) before enrolment. During the summer semester application phase, such a meeting takes place online. During the winter semester, you can meet in person in our refectory! This gives you the opportunity to get to know not only your future professor, but also potential fellow students over a delicious breakfast! You are requested to register for the in-person event using the form below.
The "Meet your Prof" event during summer term application period 2025 will be done online at the end of February/beginning of March. Dates will be communicated in due time via e-mail.

You have enrolled early for the winter term intake? That's great and gives you the chance to take part in our early bird raffle. What exactly is raffled off may change from year to year. But in previous years, we have already raffled off annual tickets for the Klimahaus Bremerhaven, hoodies and thermocups from the AStA. You will receive more details by e-mail in due time. Registration is not necessary.

How to enrol online
Application via uni-assist: When you receive an admission offer, you will be automatically informed by your admission's officer on how to proceed and including access credentials for our ecampus application portal.
Application via ecampus directly: admission is offered via this system and you will be automatically informed about a status change by the system. In both cases you may now start the online enrolment process - at the end you are are required to print out the application for enrolment form, fill it out and forward the mentioned documents to us via e-mail, if you are abroad; or via postal service, if you are already in Germany.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR VISA PROCESS: start your visa process immediately after having received the admission offer - the admission letter is sufficient!
