Alumni, teaching staff and representatives from business, industry and politics have joined forces in a cross-degree programme network. Our aim is to inspire people to study at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences and to ensure and further develop the quality of teaching and research. In doing so, we promote a constant transfer of knowledge and experience.

Awards and honours
The promotion of higher education and the academic work of students are particularly important to us. This is why we award annual prizes for outstanding achievements that are exemplary for the quality of education at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences.
The three best theses are honoured during the guest evening with the sponsorship prize, which is awarded with substantial sums. The Teaching Award is presented to particularly committed lecturers on the basis of well-founded submissions from the student body. The Research Award honours outstanding research results and methods as well as innovative research concepts and special initiatives.

Funding request
Students and teaching staff can apply for support from the friend's association of the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven with this funding request. As a matter of principle, the Association can only support requests that correspond to its purpose (see p. 2 in the request).
