My interests have always been very technically based, so it was clear to me that I wanted to study something in this direction.
What I particularly liked about my degree programme was that I was able to look at many areas of marine energy. Whether it's current energy or wave energy on the marine side or onshore/offshore wind energy on the wind side of the programme. All areas of wind/sea energy or even marine technology are represented in detail in the degree programme. Therefore, this degree programme is a must for all technical/marine/wind enthusiasts. My degree programme, Maritime Technologies, is part of Engineering. This is a great advantage, as for the first two semesters you have the foundation course together with all the other specialisations, making it easier to make friends and form study groups.
