Many degree programs also offer international experience or language modules.

Sustainable logistics is a major topic: Reducing CO₂ emissions, more efficient transport routes, and the use of renewable energy are key challenges.

You can directly influence the industry to make it more environmentally friendly.

Admission to the program requires a general higher education entrance qualification, a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, or an equivalent recognized educational qualification. In addition, since spring 2024, a three-year degree program leads to a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification. For questions regarding admission and, in particular, the possibilities of studying without a higher education entrance qualification, please contact the Admissions Office and the Student Advisory Service.

Sufficient knowledge of the German language is also required for successful completion of the program. International applicants must meet the admission requirements with proven German language proficiency (TestDaF or DSH) in accordance with the KMK guidelines. English language proficiency should correspond to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. For applicants without practical training, an internship is recommended before beginning their studies. For an optimal start to their studies, we recommend taking the preparatory course "Mathematics for First-Year Students" offered by Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences.

The Transport, Business, and Logistics (TWL) degree program accepts students every semester.

Before beginning your studies, take advantage of the opportunity to participate in our university-internal preparatory courses. If possible, it would be advantageous for you to complete a so-called "taster internship" in a logistics field before beginning your studies.
